TEAM THAT MADE A STATEMENT: Berkley: The Bears made a statement in the rivalry for the battle of Woodward with Royal Oak on Friday night. Berkley went into the Ravens Nest and left with a dominant 49-9 blowout. Berkley heads to Ferndale next week but they are rising in the rankings.
TOUGH LOSS: Oak Park: The Knights lost a tough one to Adams 10-6 on their home field in Knight Valley on Friday night. Oak Park is getting better and they are on the right track. They host North Farmington next week.
TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Farmington: The Falcons can’t seem to get any sort of luck. They fell to 0-3 in the most painful way in overtime falling 36-35 to Troy Athens on Friday night. On the bright side, Farmington found an offense and they get another test when Troy comes to Farmington next week.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Lake Orion: 84 points allowed in two games is not going to get the job done for sure after the Dragons fell 40-21 at Southfield Arts and Tech on Friday night. Lake Orion needs to find some answers defensively if they want to turn things around. They have Oxford at home looming next week.
