ROYAL OAK 1, PONTIAC 0.

TEAM THAT MADE A STATEMENT: Stoney Creek: The Cougars just proved that they belong in the Red with a stunning 21-14 homecoming victory over Southfield Arts and Tech on Friday night. Stoney Creek used time possession football and shut down the highly octane Warriors offense and Isiah Marshall. This is a monster win for the Cougars as they continue to improve. They have Lake Orion looming next week.

TOUGH LOSS: Troy Athens: The Red Hawks saw their undefeated record come to an end at Hurley Field on Friday night when they fell 31-20 to Berkley. The Bears had four touchdowns from Savod Daniels in that game. Troy Athens still controls their own destiny in the Blue and they have a big one looming with Bloomfield Hills next week.

TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Oxford: The Wildcats have been playing much better there is no denying that but falling on a heartbreaker to Clarkston 20-17 on homecoming really hurts. I’m not pressing any panic buttons on Oxford. I think the Wildcats are just fine. They have a big time test looming on the road against Southfield Arts and Tech next week.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: North Farmington: This is the second week in a row that the Raiders had a lead and lost it in the fourth quarter when they fell 32-27 to Rochester on Saturday afternoon at Stoney Creek. It's a huge program win for the Falcons. They have a huge game looming next week with Adams.

About Me

My photo
I have highest function of autism (Asperger Syndrome.) I'm a huge Dallas Stars fan. I like to play and watch football, especially when the Dragons play on Friday nights. I am a 2006 alum and used to play football for the Dragons. I ran track, I ran the 100, 200, 400 meter dashes along with shot-put and discus. During my time in Orion I was a manager for Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team. I'm the volleyball, girls basketball, and football announcer for the team and do the book on the road for girls basketball. I do the clock for volleyball in the fall along with girls basketball in the winter and announce some boys basketball games as well. In the spring I coach shot-put at Scripps Middle School, in my fifth season coaching. I run the shot-put for high school meets. I played Special Olympics Basketball, I've won three gold medals for them. I host "Between Taorminas" which is on ONTV along with a podcast called "OAA Now". In other various things outside of Lake Orion, I love to jet ski over Saginaw Bay. Saginaw Bay is basically my life. I'm a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service for Oakland and Huron counties.
