MR. SANDY DUNES 28-12

BURNEY 28-12

COTTER 32-8

TIM 30-10

DUNLAP 32-8

STICK 32-8

Rochester at 1. Adams: This is a long and anticipating rematch the city of Rochester is waiting to see. The Falcons had everything in front of them going unbeaten in the regular season. They had their arch rival whom they hadn’t beaten since 1996 in the first round of the postseason. Things got really ugly for Rochester in that game as the Highlanders went into Rochester Stadium and won 39-7. Both teams are rolling right now but the Falcons last two losses have been to city rivals. Can Rochester reverse this trend and rebound.

MR SANDY DUNES: ADAMS 35, ROCHESTER 31.

BURNEY: ADAMS 26, ROCHESTER 23.

COTTER: ADAMS 40, ROCHESTER 14.

TIM: ADAMS 42, ROCHESTER 14.

DUNLAP: ADAMS 24, ROCHESTER 14.

STICK: ADAMS 28, ROCHESTER 21.

5. Southfield Arts and Tech at 2. Clarkston: The Warriors and Wolves are no strangers to one another. Clarkston has won three of the last four meetings over Southfield Arts and Tech with their last loss being in 2019 at West Bloomfield. The quarterback matchup between Mike DePillo and Isiah Marshall is very interesting. Ethan Clark is going to be a big problem for a Warriors defense that has had their moments. It is shaping up to be a very interesting matchup in Clarkston.

MR SANDY DUNES: CLARKSTON 37, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 30.

BURNEY: CLARKSTON 30, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 23.

COTTER: CLARKSTON 28, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 20.

TIM: CLARKSTON 28, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 21.

DUNLAP: CLARKSTON 27, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 17.

STICK: CLARKSTON 28, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 21.

3. North Farmington at Oak Park: The Raiders are clicking on all cylinders. North Farmington has been averaging 47 points per game in the last three weeks. The Knights have been struggling despite going up against some very good competition but they held Adams to 10 points last week. To me this is one of the best 0-3 teams in the state. This is shaping up to be a very interesting game in Knight Valley.

MR SANDY DUNES: NORTH FARMINGTON 49, OAK PARK 28.

BURNEY: NORTH FARMINGTON 31, OAK PARK 22.

COTTER: NORTH FARMINGTON 21, OAK PARK 12.

TIM: NORTH FARMINGTON 56, OAK PARK 10.

DUNLAP: NORTH FARMINGTON 28, OAK PARK 20.

STICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 21, OAK PARK 13.

10. Stoney Creek at 4. West Bloomfield: It would had been a great matchup had these two teams played last season although it’s an interesting matchup this season. The Lakers have struggled defensively in the last three weeks but the offense has been very stout. The Cougars have been pretty good but their defense had a rough outing last week allowing 34 points to Clarkston. Something has to give in this matchup.

MR SANDY DUNES: WEST BLOOMFIELD 28, STONEY CREEK 14.

BURNEY: WEST BLOOMFIELD 29, STONEY CREEK 25.

COTTER: WEST BLOOMFIELD 35, STONEY CREEK 7.

TIM: WEST BLOOMFIELD 35, STONEY CREEK 14.

DUNLAP: WEST BLOOMFIELD 31, STONEY CREEK 10.

STICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 21, STONEY CREEK 20.

6. Troy Athens at Royal Oak: This is the first meeting since 2011 between the Red Hawks and Ravens. Troy Athens has won the last four meetings over Royal Oak by a combined 157-22. Both of these teams are different. The Red Hawks are 3-0 for the first time since 2000. The Ravens are 4-15 since 2019 thus far. This looks like a complete mismatch on paper.

MR SANDY DUNES: TROY ATHENS 77, ROYAL OAK 0.

BURNEY: TROY ATHENS 23, ROYAL OAK 21.

COTTER: TROY ATHENS 42, ROYAL OAK 7.

TIM: TROY ATHENS 35, ROYAL OAK 7.

DUNLAP: TROY ATHENS 28, ROYAL OAK 0.

STICK: TROY ATHENS 31, ROYAL OAK 21.

7. Troy at Farmington:  The Colts are 3-0 for the first time since 1999 which is a huge accomplishment. Troy has been dominated their last three opponents by a combined 78-12. They should be tested when they head to Orchard Lake and Shiawassee Road to play a dangerous Falcons squad. Farmington played much better even though they fell 36-35 in overtime to Troy Athens last week. This is the first meeting between these two schools which is very interesting. It should be a great matchup.

MR SANDY DUNES: TROY 24, FARMINGTON 21.

BURNEY: TROY 33, FARMINGTON 27.

COTTER: FARMINGTON 23, TROY 21.

TIM: TROY 28, FARMINGTON 21.

DUNLAP: TROY 17, FARMINGTON 10.

STICK: TROY 28, FARMINGTON 14.

8. Bloomfield Hills at Avondale: This will be a rematch of a stunning and surprising 37-9 Yellow Jackets blowout at Bloomfield Hills last season. The loss by the Blackhawks cost them dearly as they weren’t the same after that game. This year’s matchup takes place at Dick Bye Field in Auburn Hills. Bloomfield Hills comes in at 3-0 while Avondale comes in at 1-2. The Blackhawks came back from 21-0 down to stun Waterford Kettering 42-21 in Waterford last week. The Yellow Jackets won their first game of the season by winning 52-20 over Pontiac. This is shaping up to be a very interesting matchup to say the least.

MR SANDY DUNES: AVONDALE 28, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 25.

BURNEY: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 28, AVONDALE 17.

COTTER: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 35, AVONDALE 14.

TIM: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 35, AVONDALE 21.

DUNLAP: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 27, AVONDALE 20.

STICK: AVONDALE 21, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 14.

9. Berkley at Ferndale: These are two rivals that are no strangers to one another with them separated by five miles. They didn’t play last season because of COVID-19 protocols. The Bears have been rolling in the right direction and they are putting up scary numbers. The Eagles have been struggling especially defensively where they have allowed 86 points in two weeks. This should be a very interesting matchup between these two arch rivals.

MR SANDY DUNES: BERKLEY 35, FERNDALE 14.

BURNEY: BERKLEY 24, FERNDALE 20.

COTTER: BERKLEY 42, FERNDALE 12.

TIM: BERKLEY 28, FERNDALE 14.

DUNLAP: BERKLEY 21, FERNDALE 7.

STICK: BERKLEY 28, FERNDALE 21.

Stockbridge at Pontiac: This is the first ever meeting between the Phoenix and the Panthers. Both teams are giving up a ton of points which is rough. Stockbridge lost 61-8 to Olivet last week and have given up 174 points in three weeks. Pontiac lost 52-20 to Avondale last week. They have allowed 151 points in three weeks. This could be an offensive shootout brewing at Wisner Stadium.

MR SANDY DUNES: STOCKBRIDGE 70, PONTIAC 56.

BURNEY: PONTIAC 25, STOCKBRIDGE 22.

COTTER: STOCKBRIDGE 35, PONTIAC 6.

TIM: STOCKBRIDGE 35, PONTIAC 14.

DUNLAP: STOCKBRIDGE 23, PONTIAC 6.

STICK: STOCKBRIDGE 28, PONTIAC 21.

Groves at Seaholm: These two rivals are no strangers to one another with this being the 67th meeting all time. The Falcons beat the Maples in the postseason but both teams are off to 0-3 starts in 2021. Groves is expected to get Jaden Magnum back this week after suffering a knee injury. The Falcons have scored 15 points in three weeks. Seaholm has scored 48 points in three weeks. Both teams have really struggled this season so someone needs to get a win in the worst way.

MR SANDY DUNES: GROVES 31, SEAHOLM 14.

BURNEY: SEAHOLM 19, GROVES 18.

COTTER: SEAHOLM 21, GROVES 7.

TIM: SEAHOLM 28, GROVES 21.

DUNLAP: GROVES 24, SEAHOLM 23.

STICK: GROVES 28, SEAHOLM 14.

Oxford at Lake Orion: These are two rivals that are going in opposite directions. They didn’t play last season because of COVID-19 within the Lake Orion program. The Wildcats despite their 0-3 record have really shown some big improvement scoring 31 points against a very good West Bloomfield squad. The Dragons have struggled in the last two weeks especially defensively where they have allowed 84 points. The quarterback matchup is very interesting between Kyler Carson and Brady Carpenter. It’s which Lake Orion team shows up or can Oxford keep getting better.

MR SANDY DUNES: LAKE ORION 49, OXFORD 42.

BURNEY: OXFORD 32, LAKE ORION 27.

COTTER: OXFORD 31, LAKE ORION 21.

TIM: LAKE ORION 28, OXFORD 14.

DUNLAP: LAKE ORION 21, OXFORD 20.

STICK: LAKE ORION 35, OXFORD 34.

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep at Harper Woods: This is a very interesting matchup at Harper Woods. This is the third meeting between the two schools. The Fighting Irish beat the Pioneers 35-14 in Pontiac last season. Pontiac Notre Dame Prep has won both meetings over Harper Woods. Can the Pioneers change this trend???

MR SANDY DUNES: HARPER WOODS 31, PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 17.

BURNEY: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 27, HARPER WOODS 26.

COTTER: HARPER WOODS 28, PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 14.

TIM: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 28, HARPER WOODS 14.

DUNLAP: HARPER WOODS 24, PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 17.

STICK: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 21, HARPER WOODS 14.
