The Birmingham Bulldogs are back in a familiar place this Saturday.
The State Final and a rematch with Rockford.
It was the Rams that won the State Final match last season
over the Bulldogs 12-9.
Rockford destroyed Northville 22-4 in the State Semifinal
while Bloomfield Hills took out unbeaten Hartland 13-11 in Overtime in the
State Semifinal.
Birmingham will need another balanced performance from their
crew if they want to avenge last season’s loss to Rockford. Sofia Johnson
scored four goals, while Grace Murray and Meryl Feys scored three times each,
and Kathryn Wujciak and Danielle Augier had goals each in their State Semifinal
win.
PREDICTION: It will be a really tough matchup for the Bulldogs but I
think this one will be closer than people think. I think Rockford sadly takes
this matchup.
