TEAM THAT MADE A STATEMENT: Adams: Parker Picot is legit as I told ONTV producer Joe Johnson when describing this young man. Picot played great against a young and very talented West Bloomfield squad. He and his team made head waves throughout the State in a stunning 35-17 win over the defending Division One State Champs in the Swamp. The offensive and defensive lines were brilliant in this game and veer went to work. The Lakers had a lot of trouble with the veer as a lot of teams do. There is something brewing with the Highlanders.

TOUGH LOSS: Oak Park: The Knights had their fair share of ups and downs on Friday night in Orchard Lake. The Knights struggled offensively all night against a good Orchard Lake St. Marys defense but their defense played well despite the score and kept them to 21 points in their 21-16 loss. Oak Park should be fine going forward. I have a lot of confidence in Coach Greg Carter that he can fix this program.

TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Ferndale: The Eagles gave up a late touchdown with 23 seconds left in the game which resulted in a shocking 35-28 Ravens upset at Ferndale on Thursday night. This game went back and forth. The Eagles are in a lot of trouble in the Blue while the schedule is going to get a lot tougher from here on out. This is a huge win for Coach Ray McMann and Royal Oak. Maybe they have might have found their identity but can they sustain it is the question. The Ravens have to go to Troy next week while the Eagles head to Troy Athens next week.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Groves: I was outright flabbergasted on Friday afternoon when the Falcons took on the Dreadnoughts at Wayne State and the score was equally stunning to see. Cayden Hardy really struggled in his first start and the defense had a rough game in a 40-8 blowout loss to Dexter. Groves is in a lot of trouble right now. They have an equably struggling Southfield Arts and Tech looming next week.

I have highest function of autism (Asperger Syndrome.) I'm a huge Dallas Stars fan. I like to play and watch football, especially when the Dragons play on Friday nights. I am a 2006 alum and used to play football for the Dragons. I ran track, I ran the 100, 200, 400 meter dashes along with shot-put and discus. During my time in Orion I was a manager for Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team. I'm the volleyball, girls basketball, and football announcer for the team and do the book on the road for girls basketball. I do the clock for volleyball in the fall along with girls basketball in the winter and announce some boys basketball games as well. In the spring I coach shot-put at Scripps Middle School, in my fifth season coaching. I run the shot-put for high school meets. I played Special Olympics Basketball, I've won three gold medals for them. I host "Between Taorminas" which is on ONTV along with a podcast called "OAA Now". In other various things outside of Lake Orion, I love to jet ski over Saginaw Bay. Saginaw Bay is basically my life.
