4. Adams at 1. West Bloomfield: The Lakers are coming off an emotional four overtime victory last week by beating Lake Orion 59-52 on Saturday night. West Bloomfield will take on an Adams team that has been humming since their 36-31 loss to Lake Orion in week three. The Highlanders won 17-6 over Seaholm on their homecoming last week. It will also be a clash of different styles as well so this will be very interesting in the Swamp. Not sure if it’s the Lakers homecoming or not this week.

SANDY DUNES PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 17, ADAMS 14.
DUNLAP PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 28, ADAMS 20.
BURNEY PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 27, ADAMS 23.
STICK PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 28, ADAMS 21.
COTTER PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 21, ADAMS 17.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 28, ADAMS 21.
D-ZONE PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 35, ADAMS 17.

2. Lake Orion at Bloomfield Hills: The Dragons are coming off an emotional and tough four overtime loss to West Bloomfield 59-52 on Saturday night. Lake Orion will take on a Blackhawks team that has been struggling lately. Bloomfield Hills lost 60-12 on Saturday morning to Southfield Arts and Tech last week. It is the Blackhawks homecoming but this one could get ugly fast.

SANDY DUNES PICK: LAKE ORION 63, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 0.
DUNLAP PICK: LAKE ORION 35, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.
BURNEY PICK: LAKE ORION 40, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 17.
STICK PICK: LAKE ORION 35, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 19.
COTTER PICK: LAKE ORION 49, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: LAKE ORION 28, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.
D-ZONE PICK: LAKE ORION 42, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.

3. Oak Park at 7. Seaholm: The Maples suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Adams last week 17-6. Seaholm has the Knights in front of the Maple Forest. I’m not sure if it’s their homecoming. Oak Park earned a hard fought 20-7 victory at Stoney Creek last week. This will be a clash of styles so expect this one to be very interesting.

SANDY DUNES PICK: OAK PARK 20, SEAHOLM 14.
DUNLAP PICK: OAK PARK 31, SEAHOLM 17.
BURNEY PICK: OAK PARK 28, SEAHOLM 18.
STICK PICK: OAK PARK 35, SEAHOLM 28.
COTTER PICK: OAK PARK 26, SEAHOLM 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: OAK PARK 28, SEAHOLM 21.
D-ZONE PICK: OAK PARK 33, SEAHOLM 14.

5. Groves at Troy: This looks to be a horrendous matchup for the Colts even though the game will be on their home field. Troy has not scored a point this season. They were blown out in each game including a 37-0 loss last week to Rochester. The Falcons bounced back in a big way by beating Troy Athens 43-10 last week. I don’t know what to say about this matchup except it’s going to get ugly.

SANDY DUNES PICK: GROVES 56, TROY 0.
DUNLAP PICK: GROVES 42, TROY 0.
BURNEY PICK: GROVES 35, TROY 15.
STICK PICK: GROVES 35, TROY 7.
COTTER PICK: GROVES 49, TROY 0.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: GROVES 63, TROY 0.
D-ZONE PICK: GROVES 35, TROY 0.

6. North Farmington at Royal Oak: I just found out that Royal Oak had their homecoming two weeks ago and not last week. We expect the Ravens student section and cheerleaders to “pump that Raven spirit up” however this week they will host a Raiders team that is 5-0 for the first time since 1988. North Farmington sent a statement by blowing out Avondale 42-12 last week in Auburn Hills. Royal Oak went on the road and trailed 19-0 for three quarters until scoring 14 straight points but it wasn’t enough in 19-14 loss last week to Southgate Anderson. This could get ugly real fast.

SANDY DUNES PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 56, ROYAL OAK 0.
DUNLAP PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 42, ROYAL OAK 0.
BURNEY PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 34, ROYAL OAK 20.
STICK PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 31, ROYAL OAK 14.
COTTER PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 42, ROYAL OAK 10.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 49, ROYAL OAK 0.
D-ZONE PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 32, ROYAL OAK 7.

8. Farmington at Avondale: This is a huge game for the Yellow Jackets sitting at 3-2 after falling 56-20 to North Farmington last week. The Falcons come in at 5-0 after getting a forfeit win over Pontiac after the events that had happened. This one is very interesting between these two teams also Farmington beat Avondale twice last season so there should be some motivation heading into that game.

SANDY DUNES PICK: FARMINGTON 35, AVONDALE 21.
DUNLAP PICK: FARMINGTON 35, AVONDALE 14.
BURNEY PICK: FARMINGTON 31, AVONDALE 21.
STICK PICK: AVONDALE 21, FARMINGTON 20.
COTTER PICK: FARMINGTON 42, AVONDALE 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: FARMINGTON 35, AVONDALE 21.
D-ZONE PICK: FARMINGTON 24, AVONDALE 10.

9. Southfield Arts and Tech at Clarkston: This is a rematch of a 28-14 Warriors victory in week one but it will be interesting how both teams will do the second time around in Clarkston. The Wolves are coming off a huge 33-28 victory over Oxford thanks in huge part to freshman Ethan Clark who had 102 yards and a touchdown in his first varsity start. Southfield Arts and Tech has won two straight by outscoring their respective opponents by a combined 122-32 in both meetings. This will be very interesting on Clarkston’s homecoming.

SANDY DUNES PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 63, CLARKSTON 35.
DUNLAP PICK: CLARKSTON 21, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 20.
BURNEY PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 20, CLARKSTON 19.
STICK PICK: CLARKSTON 27, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 21.
COTTER PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 28, CLARKSTON 21.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: CLARKSTON 35, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 21.
D-ZONE PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 27, CLARKSTON 13.

10. Stoney Creek at Oxford: This shapes up to be a very interesting game on Oxford’s homecoming on the blue turf. The Wildcats are coming off a tough 33-28 loss to Clarkston last week where they trailed 27-7 at one point in that game. The Cougars held a 7-6 lead after three quarters against Oak Park but the Knights scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to beat Stoney Creek 20-7 on their homecoming last week. The Cougars are leap years ahead of last season’s pace under second year coach Nick Merlo. They need a statement win, could this be the game for the Armor Up culture???

SANDY DUNES PICK: STONEY CREEK 35, OXFORD 28.
DUNLAP PICK: STONEY CREEK 24, OXFORD 20.
BURNEY PICK: OXFORD 23, STONEY CREEK 14.
STICK PICK: STONEY CREEK 33, OXFORD 21.
COTTER PICK: STONEY CREEK 28, OXFORD 14.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: OXFORD 21, STONEY CREEK 17.
D-ZONE PICK: STONEY CREEK 14, OXFORD 10.

Troy Athens at Rochester: This is an interesting matchup with both teams tied in the season series and it was the Falcons beating the Red Hawks in overtime 27-20. Rochester earned their first win of the season by shutting out Troy 37-0 last week. Troy Athens has lost three straight after a 2-0 start including a 43-10 blowout to Groves. Something has to give in this matchup on the Falcons homecoming. This should be close.

SANDY DUNES PICK: TROY ATHENS 28, ROCHESTER 14.
DUNLAP PICK: TROY ATHENS 27, ROCHESTER 24.
BURNEY PICK: ROCHESTER 24, TROY ATHENS 17.
STICK PICK: ROCHESTER 24, TROY ATHENS 21.
COTTER PICK: TROY ATHENS 21, ROCHESTER 14.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: TROY ATHENS 35, ROCHESTER 21.
D-ZONE PICK: TROY ATHENS 10, ROCHESTER 7.

Berkley at Pontiac: These are two struggling teams that are sitting at 0-5. The Phoenix had to forfeit their game with Farmington last week due to off the field issues but they should be well rested. The Bears are coming off a 22-0 loss to Ferndale last week. Someone will win this week and it's Pontiac's homecoming this week.

SANDY DUNES PICK: BERKLEY 20, PONTIAC 6.
DUNLAP PICK: BERKLEY 24, PONTIAC 13.
BURNEY PICK: BERKLEY 33, PONTIAC 14.
STICK PICK: BERKLEY 28, PONTIAC 7.
COTTER PICK: BERKLEY 42, PONTIAC 12.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: BERKLEY 56, PONTIAC 0.
D-ZONE PICK: BERKLEY 28, PONTIAC 0.

Ferndale at Allen Park: This is the first meeting between these two teams. Also this game will be on grass which doesn't favor Ferndale. The Eagles need this game in the worst way sitting at 2-3. The Jaguars sit at 3-2 on the season and have lost their last two games by a combined two points to Trenton and Brownstown Woodhaven. Ferndale beat Berkley 22-0 last week on their homecoming. This sets up to be an interesting matchup.

SANDY DUNES PICK: ALLEN PARK 24, FERNDALE 22.
DUNLAP PICK: ALLEN PARK 31, FERNDALE 10.
BURNEY PICK: ALLEN PARK 32, FERNDALE 16.
STICK PICK: ALLEN PARK 27, FERNDALE 21.
COTTER PICK: ALLEN PARK 21, FERNDALE 6.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: ALLEN PARK 35, FERNDALE 14.
D-ZONE PICK: ALLEN PARK 27, FERNDALE 10.
