Bloomfield Hills at 1. West Bloomfield: The Battle of Bloomfield looks to be a mismatch on paper but anything is possible and Mike Stone is announcing this game. The Lakers have won five of the last six meetings over the Blackhawks. West Bloomfield blew out Adams 30-6 to go to 5-1 on the season last week. Bloomfield Hills sits at 0-6 after falling 42-6 on their homecoming to Lake Orion. It could be a long night for the Blackhawks this week in the Swamp.

BURNEY PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 36, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 15.

FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 44, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 0.
D-ZONE PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 56, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 10.

Rochester at 2. Lake Orion: This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2013. The Falcons are 1-5 after a tough 44-38 overtime loss to Troy Athens on their homecoming. This week Rochester goes to Lake Orion to take on a Dragons squad that has been rolling on all cylinders since their tough four overtime loss two weeks ago to West Bloomfield. Lake Orion comes in at 5-1 after blowing out Bloomfield Hills 42-6 on their homecoming last week. It's the Dragons homecoming this week. The Falcons haven’t beaten Lake Orion since 1996. They are coming into this game with house money.

SANDY DUNES PICK: LAKE ORION 49, ROCHESTER 6.
DUNLAP PICK: LAKE ORION 42, ROCHESTER 0.
BURNEY PICK: LAKE ORION 35, ROCHESTER 13.
STICK PICK: LAKE ORION over ROCHESTER.
COTTER PICK: LAKE ORION 42, ROCHESTER 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: LAKE ORION 35, ROCHESTER 7.
D-ZONE PICK: LAKE ORION 45, ROCHESTER 7.

Troy at 3. Oak Park: The Knights have bounced back in a big way heading into their homecoming. Oak Park sits at 5-1 with a pretty good shot to make the postseason for the sixth time in seven years under coach and Athletic Director Greg Carter. The Knights won 41-21 last week at Seaholm. Oak Park will play a Colts squad that has not scored a point this season and lost 49-0 last week to Groves. It could be a long night for Troy who sit at 0-6 right now.

SANDY DUNES PICK: OAK PARK 63, TROY 0.
DUNLAP PICK: OAK PARK 56, TROY 0.
BURNEY PICK: OAK PARK 40, TROY 22.
STICK PICK: OAK PARK over TROY.
COTTER PICK: OAK PARK 60, TROY 0.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: OAK PARK 63, TROY 0.
D-ZONE PICK: OAK PARK 56, TROY 0.

9. Stoney Creek at 4. Groves: The Falcons had no problem last week with Troy winning 49-0 to go to 5-1. Groves will have a huge test this week when Stoney Creek comes to Beverly Hills to take on the Falcons. The Cougars have been battle tested and have gained confidence each week. A ton of credit has to go to second year coach Nick Merlo who has brought the “Armor Up” culture into the program. Stoney Creek beat Oxford 27-14 to go to 4-2 on the season. The Cougars need to win two of three to have a shot at the playoffs for the first time since 2013. If they can get this one then it sends a statement that Stoney Creek is back.

SANDY DUNES PICK: GROVES 20, STONEY CREEK 17.
DUNLAP PICK: GROVES 28, STONEY CREEK 10.
BURNEY PICK: GROVES 31, STONEY CREEK 15.
STICK PICK: GROVES over STONEY CREEK.
COTTER PICK: GROVES 18, STONEY CREEK 14.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: GROVES 35, STONEY CREEK 7.
D-ZONE PICK: GROVES 24, STONEY CREEK 10.

Okemos at 5. North Farmington: The Raiders are undefeated for the first time since 1988 at 6-0. They are heading to the playoffs for the first time since 2013 when they made it to the postseason at 5-3. North Farmington is riding with a ton of confidence under new coach Jon Herstein and most of the former coaching staff at Harrison. The Raiders go out of the OAA this week and take on an Okemos team that has really struggled after making the playoffs for the first time since 2014 last season (made the district finals.) The Chieftains sit at 1-5 after losing 25-13 to Lansing Waverly last week. This looks to be a mismatch on paper between the Raiders offense that is the best in the OAA right now (265 points scored) and a Okemos defense that is really struggling (allowed 163 points in six games.)

SANDY DUNES PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 49, OKEMOS 10.
DUNLAP PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 21, OKEMOS 14.
BURNEY PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 27, OKEMOS 26.
STICK PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON over OKEMOS.
COTTER PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 28, OKEMOS 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 49, OKEMOS 0.
D-ZONE PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 42, OKEMOS 0.

6. Farmington at Berkley: The Falcons are 6-0 for the first time since 2010 and back in the playoffs for a second straight season. Farmington has scored 223 points in six games. The Falcons will take on a Bears squad that has really been struggling as of late. Berkley is 1-5 but they picked up their first win of the season by beating Pontiac 48-6 last week. The Falcons won their sixth game by beating Avondale 51-24 last week but they better beat careful they aren’t looking ahead to next week’s trip to North Farmington.

SANDY DUNES PICK: FARMINGTON 42, BERKLEY 6.
DUNLAP PICK: FARMINGTON 35, BERKLEY 7.
BURNEY PICK: FARMINGTON 28, BERKLEY 24.
STICK PICK: FARMINGTON over BERKLEY
COTTER PICK: FARMINGTON 49, BERKLEY 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: FARMINGTON 49, BERKLEY 7.
D-ZONE PICK: FARMINGTON 35, BERKLEY 6.

10. Clarkston at 7. Adams: This is a big game for both teams especially with playoff dreams at stake. The Wolves sit at 3-3 after winning an emotional 22-21 overtime victory over Southfield Arts and Tech on their homecoming last week thanks to the emergence of freshman running back Ethan Clark. The Highlanders who are currently 4-2 has not been able to get their offense in gear since their 36-31 loss to Lake Orion three weeks ago. Adams has scored only 50 points since that game which is not like them despite their defense allowed 13 points in that span until last week. The Highlanders let running back Donovan Edwards to go nuts (scored three touchdowns, two rushing, one receiving) last week in a 30-6 defeat to West Bloomfield in the Swamp. Adams has not lost in their new Adidas gold uniforms yet, could it change??? This will be a very interesting matchup to see if the Highlanders respond or will Clarkston get back on track.

SANDY DUNES PICK: ADAMS 21, CLARKSTON 14.
DUNLAP PICK: ADAMS 21, CLARKSTON 17.
BURNEY PICK: ADAMS 25, CLARKSTON 24.
STICK PICK: CLARKSTON over ADAMS.
COTTER PICK: CLARKSTON 21, ADAMS 14.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: CLARKSTON 28, ADAMS 21.
D-ZONE PICK: ADAMS 17, CLARKSTON 16.

8. Seaholm at Troy Athens: This could be very interesting between these two teams but both of these squads are very different. The Maples have lost two straight after a 4-0 start. They fell 41-21 at home to Oak Park last week. Seaholm sits at 4-2 currently but they did beat Troy Athens 41-7 last season. With that being said the Red Hawks started the year at 2-0 but they lost three straight prior to last week where they needed three overtimes to beat Rochester 44-38 to go to 3-3 on the season. This is a big game for both teams that could have playoff aspirations this season.

SANDY DUNES PICK: SEAHOLM 21, TROY ATHENS 17.
DUNLAP PICK: SEAHOLM 28, TROY ATHENS 13.
BURNEY PICK: SEAHOLM 33, TROY ATHENS 23.
STICK PICK:  SEAHOLM over TROY ATHENS.
COTTER PICK: SEAHOLM 28, TROY ATHENS 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: SEAHOLM 28, TROY ATHENS 21.
D-ZONE PICK: SEAHOLM 42, TROY ATHENS 20.

Oxford at Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors are coming back home after a three game road trip that saw them win two of three. Southfield Arts and Tech sits at 3-3 after a tough 22-21 overtime loss to Clarkston last week on their homecoming. The Warriors can’t afford to lose any more games or let any distractions get to them if they want to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016. They will play an Oxford squad that has really struggled this season. The Wildcats are 1-5 but they have played a very tough schedule. Oxford fell on their homecoming 27-14 to a very good Stoney Creek squad last week. It is Southfield Arts and Tech’s homecoming this week. The Warriors have won two of three against the Wildcats. This will be interesting.

SANDY DUNES PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 28, OXFORD 21.
DUNLAP PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 42, OXFORD 14.
BURNEY PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 22, OXFORD 19.
STICK PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH over OXFORD.
COTTER PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 28, OXFORD 7.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 42, OXFORD 14.
D-ZONE PICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 27, OXFORD 10.

Royal Oak at Pontiac: The Ravens have won the last four meetings against the Phoenix but this is the first time since 2017 that these two teams have met each other. Both teams have had rough seasons with Pontiac at 0-6 and Royal Oak at 1-5. Both teams also lost last week with the Ravens 42-8 to North Farmington and the Phoenix 48-6 to Berkley. Someone needs this win to get back on track.

SANDY DUNES PICK: ROYAL OAK 21, PONTIAC 6.
DUNLAP PICK: ROYAL OAK 24, PONTIAC 8.
BURNEY PICK: ROYAL OAK 34, PONTIAC 14.
STICK PICK: ROYAL OAK over PONTIAC.
COTTER PICK: ROYAL OAK 45, PONTIAC 6.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: ROYAL OAK 28, PONTIAC 0.
D-ZONE PICK: ROYAL OAK 14, PONTIAC 7.

Avondale at Ferndale: The road team has won the last three meetings of this rivalry. The Eagles won 39-12 in Auburn Hills last season but the last time this game was in Ferndale, Avondale won 21-13. Both teams are in very tough spots as the Yellow Jackets sit at 3-3 and the Eagles at 2-4. Also both teams are coming off losses last week, Avondale 51-24 to Farmington and Ferndale 8-0 to Allen Park. This one will be very interesting in Ferndale.

SANDY DUNES PICK: AVONDALE 21, FERNDALE 16.
DUNLAP PICK: AVONDALE 20, FERNDALE 17.
BURNEY PICK: AVONDALE 24, FERNDALE 21.
STICK PICK: AVONDALE over FERNDALE
COTTER PICK: AVONDALE 30, FERNDALE 14.
FULL COURT PICK:
TIM PICK: AVONDALE 35, FERNDALE 14.
D-ZONE PICK: AVONDALE 36, FERNDALE 20.
