BIG WIN: Clarkston: The Wolves survived on Friday night at home beating West Bloomfield 24-21 in overtime. The Lakers will be fine though moving forward. I was really impressed with Mike DePillo’s running ability for Clarkston. The Wolves will head to Lake Orion next week to play the Dragons while the Lakers host Oxford in the Swamp next week.

TOUGH LOSS: Adams: The Highlanders suffered a tough loss on Friday night in Birmingham to Seaholm 20-17. The Maples and Adams went back and forth with the lead but it was Seaholm led by Will McBride that got the winning score. Parker Picot had a big night for the Highlanders scoring twice on the night. Adams will host Stoney Creek while Seaholm will head to Beverly Hills to play Groves next week.

WHAT HAPPENED? Bloomfield Hills: The Blackhawks had all the momentum and optimism heading into their game with Rochester on Friday night but it was the Falcons that sent a statement winning 42-20. The Falcons are for real. Rochester is 3-0 for the first time since 1993 will host Royal Oak next week while Bloomfield Hills hosts Birmingham Brother Rice.

TEAM THAT MADE A STATEMENT: Berkley: The Bears are for real. Berkley is 3-0 after blowing out Troy 26-0 on Friday night at Don Colt Stadium over the Colts. The Bears have a really tough game looming next week when they go to Troy Athens. The Colts need to bounce back in the worst way as they head to Ferndale next week.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Ferndale: What happened to the Eagles in Allen Park on Friday night??? I didn’t expect Ferndale to get blown out 49-8 by the Jaguars. Ferndale was just overwhelmed in that game. The Eagles will need to bounce back in a big way next week when they host Troy.

About Me

My photo
I have highest function of autism (Asperger Syndrome.) I'm a huge Dallas Stars fan. I like to play and watch football, especially when the Dragons play on Friday nights. I am a 2006 alum and used to play football for the Dragons. I ran track, I ran the 100, 200, 400 meter dashes along with shot-put and discus. During my time in Orion I was a manager for Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team. I'm the volleyball, girls basketball, and football announcer for the team and do the book on the road for girls basketball. I do the clock for volleyball in the fall along with girls basketball in the winter and announce some boys basketball games as well. In the spring I coach shot-put at Scripps Middle School, in my fifth season coaching. I run the shot-put for high school meets. I played Special Olympics Basketball, I've won three gold medals for them. I host "Between Taorminas" which is on ONTV along with a podcast called "OAA Now". In other various things outside of Lake Orion, I love to jet ski over Saginaw Bay. Saginaw Bay is basically my life. I'm a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service for Oakland and Huron counties.
