Oxford at 1. West Bloomfield:

The Lakers have been rolling on all cylinders all season long. The Wildcats have no chance in this game unless they can keep the football for a long period of time. It will be a happy homecoming for West Bloomfield.

KEITH PICK: CLARKSTON 35, TROY 0.
DAN PICK: CLARKSTON 35, TROY 7.

10. Troy Athens at Stoney Creek:

Both teams sit at 3-3 and the winner will keep its playoff hopes alive while the other is in deep trouble. The Cougars passed a major test last week at Orion while the Red Hawks were shutout against Clarkston. This could be an interesting game to watch because both teams need this game.

Bloomfield Hills at Orion:

The Dragons knowthey aren’t going to the playoffs has to find an identity on both sides of the football. The pride is shot and the alumni’s aren’t happy. The Blackhawks 27-26 loss to Orion last season might prove it wasn’t a joke and that maybe the Dragons are overrated.

2. Harrison at 9. Farmington:

The Hawks enter this rivalry game as perhaps the favorite to win the White going undefeated since losing week one to East Kentwood. The Falcons beat Rochester but haven’t had a lot of success against their city rival on 12 Mile. If Farmington wants to prove they belong then they must win this game.

KEITH PICK: HARRISON 35, FARMINGTON 7.
DAN PICK: HARRISON 34, FARMINGTON 27.

3. Southfield at Rochester:

The Blue Jays have been a hit and miss team this season with losses to Detroit Cass Tech and Harrison. They shouldn’t have any problems with a Falcons team that has struggled this season with injuries and consistency. Southfield will have a big one with Oak Park next week.

SAMMY PICK: SOUTHFIELD 42, ROCHESTER 0.
ANT PICK: SOUTHFIELD 38, ROCHESTER 0.
KEITH PICK: SOUTHFIELD 27, ROCHESTER 10.

KEITH PICK: ADAMS 17, NORTH FARMINGTON 14.
DAN PICK:  ADAMS 21, NORTH FARMINGTON 13.
SEAN PICK: ADAMS 21, NORTH FARMINGTON 14.

6. Berkley at 5. Groves:

This game will decide the Blue crown, both the Falcons and Bears split last season’s meetings with Berkley winning the regular season meeting but Groves won the playoff meeting. this season’s game could also decide home field as well for the playoffs as its possible both teams will see each other in the playoffs. Groves hasn’t lost yet while Berkley lost to Holly in week one. This will be a good one to watch.

SAMMY PICK: GROVES 31, BERKLEY 28.
ANT PICK: GROVES 35, BERKLEY 21.
KEITH PICK: GROVES 20, BERKLEY 13.
DAN PICK:  GROVES 28, BERKLEY 14.
SEAN PICK: GROVES 35, BERKLEY 14.

7. Lathrup at Pontiac:

The Chargers have turned it around in recent weeks winning two straight games. Lathrup could be a playoff team in its final season as a school. They will go to Wisner Stadium and face a Phoenix team whom scored their first points of the season last week against Ferndale. This could be something special in the making in Lathrup Village.

SAMMY PICK: LATHRUP 28, PONTIAC 0.
ANT PICK: LATHRUP 28, PONTIAC 6.
KEITH PICK: LATHRUP 28, PONTIAC 0.
DAN PICK: LATHRUP 21, PONTIAC 7.
SEAN PICK: LATHRUP 42, PONTIAC 0.

Royal Oak at Hazel Park:

The Ravens lost a tough one to Berkley last week but they did show signs of progress in the process. They need to win out if they have any shot at the playoffs and one of those games is against Groves next week. The Vikings took a step back in a loss to Lathrup but they are improved then where they were last season.

SAMMY PICK: ROYAL OAK 35, HAZEL PARK 8.

DAN PICK: ROYAL OAK 21, HAZEL PARK 14.
SEAN PICK: ROYAL OAK 35, HAZEL PARK 8.

Ferndale at Avondale:

The Eagles got their first win of the season by beating Pontiac. The Yellow Jackets were batted by injuries have struggled and lost to Groves on homecoming last week. Avondale is the better team here but don’t count Ferndale out.

KEITH PICK: AVONDALE 21, FERNDALE 17.

I do the clock for volleyball in the fall along with girls basketball in the winter and announce some boys basketball games as well. In the spring I coach shot-put at Scripps Middle School, in my fifth season coaching. I run the shot-put for high school meets. I played Special Olympics Basketball, I've won three gold medals for them. I host "Between Taorminas" which is on ONTV along with a podcast called "OAA Now". In other various things outside of Lake Orion, I love to jet ski over Saginaw Bay. Saginaw Bay is basically my life. I'm a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service for Oakland and Huron counties.
