Here are picks and records to start the season. Enjoy.

We'll get Stick's picks later in the day.

SANDY DUNES: 0-0 0

LOCKE: 0-0 0

DUNLAP: 0-0 0

BURNEY: 0-0 0

STICK: 0-0 0

COTTER: 0-0 0

1. West Bloomfield at 8. Oak Park: There will be plenty of college bound players in this game but the key will be is can the Knights skill players be effective against a very potent Lakers defense. West Bloomfield is loaded with Division One talent as we know. If Oak Park can show up then it could be a game like last season.

SANDY DUNES PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 24, OAK PARK 14.

LOCKE PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD over OAK PARK.

DUNLAP PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 27, OAK PARK 24.

BURNEY PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 31, OAK PARK 24.

STICK PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 35, OAK PARK 28.

COTTER PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 35, OAK PARK 21.

2. Stoney Creek at 7. Seaholm: This is a rematch of a 20-13 Maples win at Stoney Creek last season. The Cougars have been waiting for a year to get a measure of revenge. Both teams made the postseason and will look to do more damage this season. Stoney Creek has a ton of experience back but Seaholm does as well. It should be a very good game in the Maple Forest.

SANDY DUNES PICK: STONEY CREEK 27, SEAHOLM 14.

LOCKE PICK: SEAHOLM over STONEY CREEK.

DUNLAP PICK: STONEY CREEK 28, SEAHOLM 24.

BURNEY PICK: STONEY CREEK 28, SEAHOLM 26.

STICK PICK: STONEY CREEK 28, SEAHOLM 27.

COTTER PICK: STONEY CREEK 20, SEAHOLM 14.

3. Clarkston at Southfield Arts and Tech: The Wolves and Warriors played each other twice last season which resulted in a split. Southfield Arts and Tech shocking the state by stunning Clarkston 28-14 in week one at West Bloomfield. The Wolves returned the favor after coming back from 14-0 to stun the Warriors 22-21 in overtime in week six. Both teams want to get off to strong starts, expect this to be a high scoring game as both defenses come into this game very suspect.

SANDY DUNES PICK: CLARKSTON 35, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 14.

LOCKE PICK: CLARKSTON over SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH.

DUNLAP PICK: CLARKSTON 17, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 10.

BURNEY PICK: CLARKSTON 27, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 21.

STICK PICK: CLARKSTON 28, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 14.

COTTER PICK: CLARKSTON 35, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 30.

4. North Farmington at 9. Adams: The Raiders are in the White after a very successful year in 2019 winning the Blue. They went undefeated in the regular season for the first time since 1970. North Farmington heads to Adams to play a very young and quick Highlanders team. Adams went undefeated at home last season in the very tough Red. It should be very interesting to see what happens especially since the Raiders have the quarterback edge and the Highlanders are a bit undersized. It will also be a huge test for North Farmington to see how they handle the veer offense.

SANDY DUNES PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 28, ADAMS 20.

LOCKE PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON over ADAMS.

DUNLAP PICK: ADAMS 21, NORTH FARMINGTON 17.

BURNEY PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 35, ADAMS 32.

STICK PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 28, ADAMS 21.

COTTER PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 17, ADAMS 14.

5. Oxford at 6. Lake Orion: This rivalry game has a ton of storylines. It’s Coach Zach Line’s first game as a coach on the sidelines going up against your arch rivals to the south. The Dragons were a playoff team last season and will look to try to continue that run with a very young team. The Wildcats have a ton of experience. I expect this game could be a high scoring affair.

SANDY DUNES PICK: LAKE ORION 21, OXFORD 14.

LOCKE PICK: LAKE ORION over OXFORD.

DUNLAP PICK: LAKE ORION 20, OXFORD 13.

BURNEY PICK: LAKE ORION 25, OXFORD 23.

STICK PICK: LAKE ORION 21, OXFORD 20.

COTTER PICK: LAKE ORION 24, OXFORD 21.

10. Groves at Farmington: Both sets of Falcons are going to be very young heading into this game after successful playoff seasons. It will come down to which players can make plays. It could determine how both team’s season goes.

SANDY DUNES PICK: FARMINGTON 17, GROVES 14.

LOCKE PICK: GROVES over FARMINGTON.

DUNLAP PICK: GROVES 24, FARMINGTON 23.

BURNEY PICK: GROVES 25, FARMINGTON 18.

STICK PICK: FARMINGTON 28, GROVES 21.

COTTER PICK: GROVES 21, FARMINGTON 14.

Rochester at Pontiac: 2019 was a struggle for both teams. The Falcons had a ton of injuries which hindered them but the underclassmen got a ton of valuable experience despite playing a very tough schedule. The Phoenix have been really down since 2011. Pontiac has experience back which helps. It comes down to who can have a good start will win at Wisner Stadium.

SANDY DUNES PICK: ROCHESTER 28, PONTIAC 20.

LOCKE PICK: ROCHESTER over PONTIAC.

DUNLAP PICK: ROCHESTER 24, PONTIAC 6.

BURNEY PICK: ROCHESTER 30, PONTIAC 17.

STICK PICK: ROCHESTER 28, PONTIAC 14.

COTTER PICK: ROCHESTER 49, PONTIAC 0.

Troy Athens at Bloomfield Hills: Could the Blue be decided in this game??? It’s possible. The Red Hawks come down from the White while the Blackhawks come down from the Red. Both teams have different styles of attack which makes this game more interesting. Bloomfield Hills has the quarterback back while Troy Athens has the running back. There are a ton of storylines heading into this game.

SANDY DUNES PICK: TROY ATHENS 35, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 28.

LOCKE PICK: TROY ATHENS over BLOOMFIELD HILLS.

DUNLAP PICK: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 24, TROY ATHENS 17.

BURNEY PICK: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 24, TROY ATHENS 20.

STICK PICK: TROY ATHENS 24, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 21.

COTTER PICK: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 34, TROY ATHENS 14.

Ferndale at Avondale: It was a down year for the Eagles last season but one of their victories came against Avondale where they beat the Yellow Jackets 42-28. Avondale had a shockingly down year as well. This is shaping up to be a very interesting game at Dick Bye Field. The road team usually wins the contest in this series but Ferndale changed that trend last season.

SANDY DUNES PICK: AVONDALE 31, FERNDALE 24.

LOCKE PICK: AVONDALE over FERNDALE.

DUNLAP PICK: AVONDALE 28, FERNDALE 21.

BURNEY PICK: AVONDALE 33, FERNDALE 28.

STICK PICK: AVONDALE 28, FERNDALE 21.

COTTER PICK: AVONDALE 34, FERNDALE 24.

Troy at Royal Oak: The Colts and Ravens resume a close rivalry that has seen both squads really struggle lately. Royal Oak is 7-11 since 2017 after previously being 10-69 from 2008 until 2016 while Troy is 29-58 since 2010. The Ravens have lost week one three of the last four years while the Colts have lost two of the last three home openers. Something has to give.

SANDY DUNES PICK: ROYAL OAK 10, TROY 7.

LOCKE PICK: ROYAL OAK over TROY.

DUNLAP PICK: TROY 20, ROYAL OAK 17.

BURNEY PICK: TROY 23, ROYAL OAK 22.

STICK PICK: TROY 14, ROYAL OAK 13.

COTTER PICK: ROYAL OAK 28, TROY 7.

Berkley at Lincoln Park: The Bears are looking to change their fortunes in 2020 after three struggling seasons. Berkley takes on a Railsplitters squad that has also had their fair share of problems as well. Somebody will be off to a 1-0 start after this game.

SANDY DUNES PICK: BERKLEY 35, LINCOLN PARK 0.

LOCKE PICK: BERKLEY over LINCOLN PARK.

DUNLAP PICK: BERKLEY 21, LINCOLN PARK 20.

BURNEY PICK: BERKLEY 21, LINCOLN PARK 17.

STICK PICK: BERKLEY 21, LINCOLN PARK 7.

COTTER PICK: BERKLEY 35, LINCOLN PARK 6.
