Top Games (Boys)- Jan 6th thru Jan 12th

North Farmington at Ferndale (Tuesday): This will be a huge test for the Raiders. For the Eagles this game could prove if they belong in the Red or not.

West Bloomfield at Macomb Dakota (Tuesday): The Lakers have handled their brutal non-league schedule well. If West Bloomfield can shut down Ryan Rollins then this will be very interesting.

Troy at Stoney Creek (Tuesday): The Cougars defense vs the Colts offense will be the matchup to watch.

Troy at Farmington (Friday): Brody Parker vs Jaiden Atkins but whose role players shows up will determine this game.

Lake Orion at Lapeer (Friday): This should be a very physical game on Friday night.

Lake Orion at Oak Park (Tuesday): Two Jekyll and Hyde teams showing up in this game. It will be an interesting game of two different styles.

Avondale at Royal Oak (Tuesday): Two teams that are trying to get back on track.

Troy Athens at Berkley (Tuesday): Could be an early indicator who wins the Blue.

West Bloomfield at North Farmington (Friday): This should be an interesting matchup. Both teams are team oriented squads and deep which always helps.

Rochester at Pontiac (Friday): The Phoenix had a good showing against Clarkston. It should be interesting how they respond against a good Falcons squad.

Farmington at Groves (Tuesday): Both teams are coming off tough losses. It will be interesting which set of Falcons will bounce back.

Stoney Creek at Groves (Friday): This is a very interesting matchup of two quick and athletic squads going against one another.

Oxford at Adams (Friday): If the Wildcats can get some help for Trey Townsend especially in the interior then they will be fine. In a tough matchup which has Peyton Prieskorn and both Urusy brothers it could be very interesting.

Oak Park at Clarkston (Friday): The Wolves have been rolling since losing to St. Marys. Clarkston has relied on three players carrying them thus far which is dangerous. The Knights are an interesting team to watch.

Ferndale vs Detroit Edison (Sunday, 4 PM Oakland County Classic at Oakland): The Eagles will have a tough non league game at Oakland on Sunday afternoon when they play Detroit Edison. The Pioneers have had a good season and should test Ferndale. It will be interesting to see what happens.

North Farmington has a ton of experience as we mentioned. This will be a very interesting matchup to say the least.

I played Special Olympics Basketball, I've won three gold medals for them. I host "Between Taorminas" which is on ONTV along with a podcast called "OAA Now". In other various things outside of Lake Orion, I love to jet ski over Saginaw Bay. Saginaw Bay is basically my life.
