BIG WIN: North Farmington: The Raiders have come from a long ways under coach Bob Chiesa but going into Hurley Field and winning is not an easy thing to do but that’s what North Farmington did on Friday night winning 22-14 in the process over the Berkley Bears. The Raiders host Royal Oak next week but things are looking up for North Farmington.

TOUGH LOSS: Troy: The Colts lost a tough one to Rochester 35-20 and are likely going to miss the playoffs this season. Troy whom made the postseason last season has struggled defensively and the schedule has toughen as well having to play Clarkston last week. The Colts host Oak Park next week.

WHAT HAPPENED: Oxford: Where did the Wildcats offense go on Friday night against an Adams team that was struggling heading into that matchup??? The Highlanders pulled off the biggest upset of the night stunning Oxford on the road 17-8 on Friday night. Adams hosts West Bloomfield next week while the Wildcats go to Stoney Creek.

TEAM THAT’S IN TROUBLE: Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors suffered a tough 30-21 home loss to Clarkston on Friday night. Southfield Arts and Tech still must play Lake Orion, West Bloomfield, Adams, and River Rouge to close the season. It could be a tough road for the Warriors this season if they want to make the playoffs for the first time in two years.

TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Lake Orion: The Dragons played well early against West Bloomfield but mental breakdowns and poor officiating cost Lake Orion in their 42-21 loss to the Lakers. The Dragons now sit at 2-3 needing to win out. They go to Southfield Arts and Tech next week. Lake Orion needs to fix some things and quick.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Avondale: The Yellow Jackets have not been the same since losing to Ferndale two weeks ago. They went into Farmington and lost 28-14 on Friday night. Avondale which had hope and an opportunity to do wonders now is struggling to find an identity. They are struggling right now.

About Me

My photo
I have highest function of autism (Asperger Syndrome.) I'm a huge Dallas Stars fan. I like to play and watch football, especially when the Dragons play on Friday nights. I am a 2006 alum and used to play football for the Dragons. I ran track, I ran the 100, 200, 400 meter dashes along with shot-put and discus. During my time in Orion I was a manager for Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team. I'm the volleyball, girls basketball, and football announcer for the team and do the book on the road for girls basketball. I do the clock for volleyball in the fall along with girls basketball in the winter and announce some boys basketball games as well. In the spring I coach shot-put at Scripps Middle School, in my fifth season coaching. I run the shot-put for high school meets. I played Special Olympics Basketball, I've won three gold medals for them. I host "Between Taorminas" which is on ONTV along with a podcast called "OAA Now". In other various things outside of Lake Orion, I love to jet ski over Saginaw Bay. Saginaw Bay is basically my life. I'm a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service for Oakland and Huron counties.
