CLARKSTON 13, Lapeer 0

Clarkston has always found ways to win these type of games and they did just that at Lapeer on a windy Friday night. There was not a lot going on in the first half as the wind became a factor in Lapeer. Both defenses have had strong first halves but the difference was the three illegal motion penalties and lack of tackling by the Lightning late which does not help against a team that doesn't make a lot of mistakes. The Wolves had an interception to close out the half but the big play was that the Visitors got a fourth down stop and an interception in this game. Clarkston would score on a two yard touchdown run to give themselves a 7-0 lead to start the fourth quarter. The Wolves would get a stop and then another touchdown making the score 13-0 Clarkston which would be the final score. The Wolves will move onto the State Semifinals as they take on Saline or Rockford next which will be at Okemos.
