TEAM THAT MADE A STATEMENT: Oak Park: The Knights picked up a huge home win over North Farmington winning 30-24 on Friday night in Knight Valley. Oak Park is 1-3 with a tough schedule looming. They are finding ways to make a ton of progress which is a great sign going forward.

TOUGH LOSS: Royal Oak: The Ravens hung in there on their homecoming with Troy Athens on Friday night. They fell 43-35 in a crazy back and fourth game. Royal Oak is getting better which is a good sign going forward.

TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Seaholm: The Maples had a tough loss to their arch rivals on Friday night falling 21-14. Seaholm is 0-4 right now but they are improving each week. There are a ton of positives to watch with the Maples right now.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Lake Orion: For the second straight week the Dragons make this list. 51 points allowed to your arch rival on your home field. They have allowed 135 points in three weeks. That is not a good sign. This is a team that is in trouble right now. They need to do some soul searching and quick if they want to turn their season around.

  1. Hard to have all those oaa blue teams in top 10. 3 of the 25 biggest schools in the state play in the lowest league in the OAA and shouldn't be there. They are feeling good beating up on smaller less competitive schools. They will make the playoffs and get dominated by good teams. Just not a good look

  2. It's difficult but with their success, have to rank them. Looking at Lake Orion, Oxford, Southfield Arts and Tech, and Oak Park's whom schedules are brutal. I want to see the three big schools play up a division or push themselves, the strength of schedule component comes into play.
