Here are my thoughts and insights heading into the regionals for soccer.
Region Three @ Troy Athens
Walled Lake Central vs New Baltimore Anchor Bay
TROY ATHENS vs Utica Eisenhower
INSIGHT/PREDICTION: This is a very interesting regional at Troy Athens. The Red Hawks have home field and a solid program. Utica Eisenhower is very good and tough minded. Walled Lake Central won a really tough district. New Baltimore Anchor Bay is solid. This is shaping up to be a Red Hawks/Tars regional finals with Troy Athens moving on.
Region Two @ Northville
Warren De LaSalle vs Novi Detroit Catholic Central
BERKLEY vs Grosse Pointe South
INSIGHT/PREDICTION: This is a very interesting regional over at Northville. Novi Detroit Catholic Central is solid and loaded. Berkley is very good and talented. Warren De LaSalle is decent. Grosse Pointe South is not bad. I’m seeing a Bears/Shamrocks regional final with Novi Detroit Catholic Central moving on.
