BIG WIN: Clarkston: The Wolves had to survive on Friday night against Southfield Arts and Tech and overcoming a 17-7 deficit in the process winning 24-17. Mike DePillo scored the winning score for Clarkston. The Wolves will play Oxford next week while the Warriors travel to the Swamp to play the Lakers.

TOUGH LOSS: Adams: The Highlanders decided to go for the win on Thursday night at home against North Farmington but they couldn’t get it done which resulted in a stunning 34-33 defeat to the Raiders. Adams will head to Beverly Hills next week to take on Groves. North Farmington plays Stoney Creek next week.

WHAT HAPPENED? Oak Park: What happened to the Knights??? Oak Park was shutout in Knight Valley losing 39-0 to West Bloomfield. The Knights will travel to Lake Orion next week pending the COVID-19 situation surrounding the Dragons.

TEAM THAT MADE A STATEMENT: Stoney Creek: The Cougars made a huge statement on Thursday night in Birmingham blowing out Seaholm 37-13. Cam Buford and Jon Foger are the real deal for Stoney Creek. The Cougars are the lead cats in the White and they have a huge game with North Farmington looming next week. The Maples will host Farmington next week.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Royal Oak: The Ravens have been a hard team to figure out and thus losing 20-17 to Troy on Friday night doesn’t help things. Royal Oak travels to Bloomfield Hills next week while the Colts host Walled Lake Central next week.
