The Red Hawks took home their first State title since 1997 in Boys Soccer with a 4-1 double overtime victory over Traverse City West in the Division One State Finals on Saturday afternoon at Grand Rapids Comstock Park.
Troy Athens scored three unanswered goals to seal the win in
overtime. They finished the season at 28-2-6 on the year.
It is the first title for the 2019-2020 school year for the
OAA.
The Red Hawks had a strong season. They will be very good
next season as well.
