The Troy Athens Red Hawks will have a chance to bring the OAA their first State title of the 2019-2020 school year with a matchup with the Plymouth Salem Rocks on Wednesday night at Troy High School at 6 PM in the Division One State Semifinals.
The Red Hawks won their regional at Troy by needing to
survive Chippewa Valley 3-2 in overtime by winning the game in the second
overtime. Troy Athens comes into this game with a 21-2-1 record.
The Rocks are not bad, they just beat Ann Arbor Pioneer in
the regionals. Plymouth Salem comes into this game with a 15-6-4 record.
The winner will meet either Traverse City West or Novi on Saturday
in the Division One State Finals. Novi and Traverse City West will meet at
Lansing Holt at 6 PM on Wednesday night.
This will be very interesting to say the least.
