Ferndale Names New Girls Basketball Coach.

The Eagles have a new Girls Basketball coach.

Ferndale named Christina Nagle as their new Girls Basketball Coach.

Nagle takes over for Cody Fletcher whom left the program after having a rough season last year going 5-16 and 0-10 in the Gold.

Nagle was an assistant last season for the Eagles and brings a ton of experience to Ferndale with her. She played at Urbana in Ohio before transferring to Lawrence Tech.

The Eagles will have to change a lot but they have two players coming back in Seniors Ronyae Lynn and Ma'Yona Patmon along with Sophomores Kenisha Williams and Kyra Newman back for a team that is looking to change the culture.

Thoughts.

This could be a long season for Ferndale but the hire was from within which made a lot of sense and to keep the program. The Eagles have struggled in the last three seasons with coaching stability. This could be an interesting road for Ferndale.
