The city of Troy has been spoiled with their soccer lately. Troy Athens made it to the Division One State Finals last season, this season it’s their city rivals the Troy Colts that are making a deep run. The Colts beat Sterling Heights Stevenson 4-2 in the Regional Final at Bloomfield Hills and will host Walled Lake Central whom beat Grand Blanc 2-1 at Flint's Atwood Stadium in the State Semifinal on Wednesday. If Troy wins over the Vikings on Wednesday then they will be in the State Final on Saturday against either Novi Detroit Catholic Central or East Kentwood whom will be playing on Wednesday at Lansing Holt.

Harrison is in the midst of a special season after they took home their first regional championship since 1987 with a 1-0 win over Gibraltar Carlson at Farmington on Thursday night. The Hawks will head to Fenton to compete in the Division Two State Semifinal on Wednesday and play East Lansing whom beat Petoskey 2-0 at home on Saturday. If Harrison were to beat East Lansing then they would play either Holland or Coldwater in the State Final on Saturday. Holland and Coldwater are playing on Wednesday at Portage Northern.
