The step father of Southfield Arts and Tech student Kara
Allen was sentenced to 45 to 100 years on Wednesday.
Gregory Green plead guilty to second degree murder for
murdering Allen along with her brother and his own two daughters. He stabbed
his second wife Faith Harris-Green at their home in Dearborn last September.
Green said at his sentencing that “only God can judge me”
before he was taken away from the courtroom.
Allen was a Senior at Southfield Arts and Tech. She was a
cheerleader, a football manager, a member of the National Honor Society, and
worked for the school newspaper.
Southfield Arts and Tech honored Allen by wearing pink and
having pink balloons in her honor in their game vs Orion.
Green was in prison for 16 years for murdering his first wife
whom was pregnant at the time. He was denied bail four times before being
released in 2008. Green will serve the rest of his life in prison.
