Fahr Hit with a Two Year Postseason Ban.

Written Friday August 5th at 6:10 PM

Well finally we know the punishment handed out against Waterford Mott football coach Chris Fahr.

Fahr was hit with a two year postseason ban along with a two game suspension for the regular season for having illegal gatherings before Memorial Day and also illegal recruiting.

Waterford Mott also had it's seven on seven scrimmages cut in half this summer as part to the self imposed sanctions.

Nick Linesman, former Freshman Football coach at Waterford Mott was fired from the school and got a two year playoff ban as well.

Fahr was given a chance to appeal his case but was denied by the MHSAA on Friday. He will seek to get an injunction stopping the enforcement of the playoff banishment. The report will be released next week.

Fahr will be entering his fifth season at Waterford Mott. The Corsairs are 12-6 in the last two seasons under Fahr. Waterford Mott will open up the season on August 26th against Macomb L'Anse Creuse North.

Waterford Athletic Director Allison Sartorius sent out a statement that can be read here from MIPrepZone.
