Southfield Warriors.

The Southfield school district will have a new name and it will be an interesting nickname to say the least according to an accurate source but not confirmed by the school district.

The team's new name will be the Warriors and their color scheme will be red, white, and blue. Southfield-Lathrup was red and white being the Chargers while Southfield was the Blue Jays and they were blue and white.

Interesting name and choice of colors to say the least. When Lapeer merged their high schools they went to a dark blue and green scheme and Southfield has decided to do the same. We'll see what happens.
